Well.. a lazy day goofing off but...
Ive reset the tribes game .. got tired of fighting with the scheduler timeing out - just too much work for the code to handle.. so I reset the game- hopefully we'll see some activity here, and get some people interested.. Im interested to see how often the game should be reset.. I do plan to do some bug fixing on the game... eventually.. Office work and dealing with business issues is taking up all my time this week, so of course, me hating paperwork like I do, Ive spent most of teh day pushing pieces of paper back and forth, and being lazy.. figured I outta do something today at least..
Crazy Tribes
Do enjoy the game, use the bug reporting tool, and I will investigate bugs as I gain time for it ..
let me know what you think, please.. I appreciate all input on all games we run here..

Monthly Resets
We have reset Fastnova (Thanks, Kitty!) as of Saturday, and we will probably reset tourney game, solar empires (maybe) and in a couple weeks, Promisance.. Due to other issues that have come up, I havent been able to get much work done on the site, so Im behind schedule on the reset calendar and site map.. although the site is mostly in place. we still have a couple other pages to add here, including a partnership deal with WorldWinner, and setting up our own textads system, which will display text ads in-game on all our games (eventually)
Ive decided not to reset coolnova until further notice. it is simply too exploitable, and every round, the game gets ruined by these idiots that keep cheating and hacking and exploiting, and I am sick and tired of it all.. trying to wait until TKI comes out with the latest code, and see how adaptable it is to BNT style game play..
Otherwise, I may suspend coolnova for a short time and recommend Quasar and/or solar empires as a good game to get involved in.. I may add a game of SE and speed things up on turns, etc to soothe the BNT players who dont like having to wait so long for stuff to happen ..
As Ive said, I havent decided yet.. I would really like to get some feedback from the community on alternatives to coolnova
however, I suppose I may reset it again eventually if I have to but be warned, some may not be happy with "features" I put into it or take away from it .. cause the cheaters just keep exploiting it over and over again.. so basically what Im going to do, if I do reset, is make a ship blow itself up if it gets more on it than it can hold
In other words, illegal ship values will trigger a self-destruct of the player
although it will probably catch some innocent bystanders as well..
Again.. Feedback is most helpful! remember, use our forums or feedback form

WOW! Why didnt someone tell me?
WOW! I'm simply amazed.. no one ever mentioned to me that the DRAGONS game had not been completely set up!? Well. it is now. General posted in the forums, and it got my attention, so I checked everything out. I just finished installing 55 modules and a few tweaks to the game, so players can now login and play and enjoy themselves. It's quite a HUGE change from the original version that many of you may be used to, so make sure and bring in some people to join you and have some fun!

OK, so that one is out of the way.. Please, PLEASE, everyone, if you notice something odd or missing or a game that doesnt work like you expect it to, login problems, whatever PLEASE contact us via the forums or by using our FEEDBACK FORM
It is important to me to have these games running so you have a place to unwind, relax and enjoy yourselves!
I've also taken on the re-development of webchess as some of you may know by now- If you are interested in following the progress of development feel free to drop by COMP WEB CHESS forums
We've been busy with several other projects as well, and My parents have been here to visit, and enjoyed seeing sunny south Florida! (My dad finally got to see the Atlantic Ocean for the first time in 68 years!) and I do hope to get a chance to fly back up to P.A. and visit (Havent been back in 2 years)
I also plan to nail down a couple of bugs in the Kabal Invasion games that we've come across, and hopefully soon we will be replacing BNT code with the NEW TKI..
Again, everyone, Please do let us know when you find an issue or problem with the site.. (even if it is a little old typo) We always value our visitors input and hope everyone will be able to enjoy their favorite games for a long time to come! |

More Games.... Yep!
Well, We've added a bunch more Flash games , so now we have 25 games to play over on the flash games page.
As you know by now, we have google ads running. (helps a little bit but not much - so far a total of 53 cents earned)
We also have posted the development coding standards, we've fixed a few templates, added a CSS tweak to help with the 800x600 screen resolution issues, and got a bit more content straightened out. All links should now be fully working.. if there's a link error from any page, please do let me know as soon as you can !
I'm not PERFECT, ya know?
Anyways, it looks as if we'll be launching yet another development project - for Webchess. Just needs organized and cleaned up badly.
That's pretty much the news for today.. I'll probably be slacking off a lot next week, my parents have driven down from Pennsylvania for a little vacation, and I'll be showing 'em around Miami next week
As always, feedback and comments are more than welcome.
