- You MUST use a valid email address, passwords are NOT displayed
they are sent to the email address you entered when creating your account, enter your details carefully
the admin will NOT issue passwords, if you have a valid email address and you think the
game has not sent you your password, attempt to login with just your email address, if you entered it correctly
when registering the game will send you a new password. If you still get no password, ensure there are
no mail filters in place which may be stopping the email getting to you. If all else fails try registering again,
double-checking all your typing.
Also- Please note that some places such as Hotmail and AOL will block the email and bounce it (AOL is the worst offender) because currently the game's mailer sends mail
in such a way that AOL thinks it is spam. Please, do NOT Use an aol email address. If you need a non-aol email address, try Yahoo or gmail. If you need a gmail invitation, just contact Da_Boss in the forums
or via a feedback form, and let us know what email address to send the invitation to.
- No transfers of credits or any other items by ANY means between players until both
players have used 1500 turns. This means that you CANNOT create undefended planets, transfer money to them
and let your friends capture them. You can still hunt for other players, just remember you can't take any payment
for this until you have used 1500 turns ; hunting means that you can tell others locations of Ports, Xenobe ships &
planets, enemy player ships & planets. Any player caught transferring to another player before they have both used
1500 turns will have their ship and any money they have zeroed.
- You are not allowed to have multiple accounts. In other words, if you
have more than one player in the game you are breaking the rules, if you
need two accounts to test a theory then host your own game, there are plenty of free servers about
that can be used for testing. If more than one person plays from the same computer or IP, than you MUST
obtain the admins approval BEFORE creating additional accounts. If you are caught with multiple accounts
the admin will remove all your players and ban you from the game for the remainder of the round.
You CANNOT create 'temporary' additional accounts to bump up the Player Average and then the Xenobe size.
In addition you CANNOT use one account to repeatedly scan a particular
target then self-destruct/destroy that account and use another account to attack with.
You CANNOT use a 2nd account for hunting Xenobe, if another player wishes to hunt for you that is ok,
but you cannot do it yourself using a 2nd account this is the same as multi-ing.
You CANNOT attack a planet then after getting destroyed create a new account. PERIOD.
If you lost your ship and did not have an escape pod, that is your problem - there is no excuse for not having an escape pod
If your ship gets blown up, and it is not sent to sector 0, let an admin know immediately before you do *anything* else.
Do not give your password out to anyone as there is no need for any other person
to have access to your account.
- Check the Admin News link regularly as that is where updates concerning
the game will be posted. (Link in Commands menu on left of main page). While
your there register an account so you can post (if you want) and take part in polls concerning the game.
- No harassment! No swearing, No Profanity, No Cursing - call it what you will, there
are players of all ages and both sexes on this server, if you can't say it without swearing or being
rude or offensive then don't say it. If you do and you're caught you will be removed and
banned, this applys to ALL areas of the game.
- No scripts allowed! You can be as creative as you'd like with how you use
web browsers to play the game (multi windows), but you cannot use external scripts of any kind.
You are *also* prohibited from using any Refresh exploits or attempting to create race conditions. The admins and owner at Crazybri have access to the server's full logs,
and know how to read them. If you are found to have been using Refresh or Race condition exploits, you will be banned immediately.
(this shows up in the logs by multiple page requests at a speed faster than is normally possible.)
- If you find a bug it is against the rules to exploit it. You must report it right
away to the webmaster and preferably to the forums as well. If you are found to be exploiting a bug, and there is no record of it having been reported,
You will be banned for using the exploit.
- No inheritance exploits. For example when you're new you get 1500 turns. You
can trade trade trade, leave the money somewhere safe and self destruct. Then sign on
again with a new account and pick up the money. Keep doing this and you get a really high
score right off the bat. The trick is that everyone knows you're doing this because your
score is way too high for the low number of turns you have used.
- Do not waste the admins time, I will not rebuild your ship if you make a mistake
and get destroyed, YOU are responsible for your account, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure your ship is
safe no-one elses. If you do get blown up make sure you purchase all upgrades necessary, check the port
page it will show you what you do and do not have installed on your ship, if you think something is wrong with
the port settings or what you can or cannot buy, leave your ship somewhere safe & contact the admin for
verification before continuing to play.
I will not delete/reset your account if you burn all your turns up by trading or moving using the wrong method
of travel either, so please don't ask as a refusal normally upsets.
I will not delete/reset your account if you play for a while then suddenly find out about a turn/time saving feature in the game.
- Kami-Attacks - to deliberately destroy your ship in an attack with the sole purpose of lowering
the defenses so you can come back and destroy/capture it. This is a legitimate tactic, however players are cautioned that when doing Kamikaze attacks, the use of Multiple Windows
is *STRICTLY PROHIBITED. This means, if we find evidence of multi window Kamikaze attacks or rapid refresh attacks, your account will be banned.
This will be vigorously enforced any player found breaking this rule can expect to have their ship destroyed.
- Player Interaction. - If the actions or messages of another player bother you, or make you angry, be very careful about retaliation.
Preserve evidence of what that player was doing, in order to justify your actions if admins happen to investigate. If you think another player is cheating, *REPORT IT TO AN ADMIN VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE!!*
DO NOT Post publicly in the shoutbox or forums accusing another player of cheating. Inform admins privately and allow at least 3 days for us to get back with you. Rest assured any reports *WILL* be throughly investigated, and
Admin's decisions are *FINAL* Once a determination is made, the investigating admin will get back with you explaining the reasons for the decision.
Again, do NOT publicly accuse someone of cheating or using exploits- we'd rather be able to investigate without the player knowing for sure that an investigation is ongoing. This makes it more likely that they will *not* cover their tracks as throughly.

Basically, if you break any of the above rules you stand a very good chance of being removed from
the game and banned, the admin logs here are very detailed, and it is relatively easy to check up on
someones actions, so no matter how tempting it is, don't break the rules.
